Location, Location, Location Due to its location just outside the Clark Main Gate, Fields Avenue grew to become the entertainment area for the U.S. Air Force personnel stationed there. This left a legacy to be filled by tourism after the eruption of Mount Pinatubo for Fields Avenue to become the "in your face" nightlife capital it is today.
